Our recycling partners

Soft plastics

APR Plastics is a sister company to Australian Paper Recovery and APR Kerbside. APR Plastics was formed in an endeavor to address and deliver a long-awaited viable solution for existing soft plastic processing difficulties faced by the recycling industry.

In January 2023, we partnered with APR Plastics to bring soft plastics recycling back to our residents. Find out more about our partnership here.

Clothing and textiles

  • Australian Red Cross is the leading humanitarian organization that brings communities together in times of crisis. In 2022, we partnered with Red Cross to donate all wearable clothing* to their charity shops. The funds raised from the donations will go towards communities in need. Check out our video here to see how the process works.

  • Upcycle 4 Better is an international textile end-of-use organisation. We are partnered with Upcycle 4 Better to recycle, reprocess and repair unwearable textiles and shoes in unwearable condition.

E-Waste

  • SPC eCycle is an electronic waste recycling company that recycles a wide variety of electronic equipment. We teamed up with SPC eCycle and Arnies Recon in 2023 to pick up e-waste from residents doorsteps and get them recycled in Sydney.

Misfits

  • Nespresso recycles aluminium coffee capsules through a specialist recycling plant based in Nowra, NSW. We began collecting aluminium coffee capsules to be recycled in 2021.

  • Sims Metal processes scrap metal from businesses, other recyclers and the general public. With over 200 processing facilities in the United States, United Kingdom and Australasia, they recycle ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In 2023, we partnered with Sims Metal to recycle cookware from residents doorsteps.

  • Styrocycle is a collective of polystyrene manufacturers who are dedicated to reducing the amount of polystyrene waste sent to landfill to ZERO. The polystyrene we collect is processed using state-of-the-art recycling machines so that it can be re-purposed and used in everyday, essential items like car seats, bike helmets, food and medical transport, and as sustainable building insulation for Australian homes.

Disney Studios Australia

The Walt Disney Company is one of the world's leading producers and providers of entertainment and information. In 2022, we partnered with Disney Studios Australia in Sydney to collect tricky-to-recycle items from their offices and get them recycled.

Canva

Canva is an Australian global multi-national graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. We partnered with Canva in 2020 to help them with their tricky-to-recycle items in their offices.

Trace

TRACE has a mission to fuel the future with their carbon footprint offsetting program and is one of our partners on our sustainable journey.

We are carbon neutral! How did we make this happen?

TRACE has helped calculate the emissions of our day-to-day operations and worked with us to offset our carbon footprint through a program which plants trees in Australia and around the world.

Clean Up Australia

We are a proud partner of Clean Up Australia, an organisation that works with community members, governments and businesses to run nation wide events to help keep our environment clean. Click here to learn more about their vision for the future.

Sydney Basket Brigade

The Sydney Basket Brigade works with local grassroots community organisations to ensure that those who need extra love on Christmas receive gift boxes and hampers made specifically for them.

In 2020, we partnered with them to run a Toy Donation Campaign that allowed us to save 130kgs of toys from landfill by sending them to new, loving homes during the Christmas season!

Harris Farm Markets

Harris Farm Markets is an Australian grocery chain that has supermarkets in New South Wales and Queensland. 

We offer our service to Harris Farm customers to assist them in recycling correctly. 

Marley Spoon

Marley Spoon is a meal kit delivery service that drops off pre-proportioned ingredients to make healthy recipes at home. 

We help the users recycle properly by picking up the packaging leftover from the meal boxes.
