Soft plastics can be easily scrunched in your hand.

Please make sure all soft plastic is clean and dry to prevent mould.

We collect:

  • Biscuit packaging
    (not trays)

  • Bread bags

  • Bubble wrap

  • Cereal box liners

  • Plastic film

  • Plastic sachets

  • Shopping and grocery bags

  • Silver lined chip bags

  • Confectionary packets and bags

  • Fresh produce

    bags, incl. string bags

  • Frozen food bags

  • Squeeze pouches

  • Sturdy pet food bag

  • Zip lock bags

  • Adhesive tape

  • Balloons

  • Biodegradable plastics

  • Compostable plastics

  • Clear Vinyl packaging

  • Foil packaging

  • Rigid plastic containers: strawberry punnets etc

  • Rubber, rubber gloves

  • Tinsel

  • Wine/water bladders (foil based)

What happens once you collect them?

We are partnered with APR Plastics to recycle soft plastics. We deliver them to the APR Plastics facility in Victoria. They will be transformed into feedstock oil, which enables it to become soft plastics again.
